Chicago Phantasy is a series of Chicago street and architectural pictures from autumn 2013. This series composed of four black and white pictures conveys a simple, yet compelling message: Chicago is a universe on its own with a myriad of facets and perspectives. Countless impressions and inspirations can be sucked from this melting pot of cultures, buildings, and street scenes. “Lonely Girl with Yellow Umbrella” depicts an almost surreal street scene. Right in the heart of downtown Chicago near Union Station a lonely woman walks over a bridge in the light rain.
